How You Can Help Out

Donate to NV Access

You can Donate to NV Access in a number of ways. For more information, please visit the Donate page. We are a non profit organisation that is exempt from income tax; which means that all of your contribution goes directly towards NV Access and the individual projects we support.

We also accept donations of the following types of equipment:

  • Computer hardware and software
  • Assistive and adaptive technology
  • Office supplies and equipment

If you have any working equipment that you would like to donate, please E-mail the committee at  committee@nvaccess.org. Please note that at this stage, we can only accept equipment that can be dropped off or posted to the South-Eastern Melbourne area in Australia.

Helping as an Individual or as a Group

If you, or your group has a particular skill or interest and you would like to assist NV Access or any of the individual projects, we would like to hear from you. We are always looking for help in the following areas:

  • Fundraising and sourcing potential grants or sponsorship opportunities
  • Computer programming and coding for the individual projects
  • Testing and bug reporting for the individual projects
  • Accounting and financial expertise
  • Legal support and advice
  • Donations of computer equipment or software (for testing purposes)

You or your group may be able to contribute in other ways as well. If you would like to contribute, or if you are unsure as to how your group can best contribute to NV Access or its projects, please E-mail the committee at  committee@nvaccess.org. Helping as an Organisation

If your organisation is interested in supporting or donating equipment or finances to NV Access or any of the individual projects, we would like to hear from you. Please E-mail the committee at  committee@nvaccess.org. Or you can visit the Contact Us page for more contact information.

How NV Access can Help Your Project

As NV Access is a very young organisation (created in March 2007), we are not yet able to financially support any other projects. But we would like to hear from you if you are currently working on a free and open source project that provides access to people who are blind and vision impaired. Even though we will not be able to provide funds for the project yet, we may still be able to provide support in other ways. Please E-mail the committee at  committee@nvaccess.org.
